Cybersecurity

Endpoint, network and email protection

Most attacks aren’t sophisticated: they get in through an unpatched device, a deceptive email or a badly configured network. We close those doors with layered protection across devices, network, email and cloud.

What is included

  • Endpoint protection (EDR)

Next-generation antivirus that detects suspicious behaviour, not just known viruses.

  • Perimeter and network security

A properly configured firewall, network segmentation and rules that limit what gets in and out.

  • Email filtering

Protection against phishing, impersonation and malicious attachments before they reach the inbox.

  • Patch management

Operating systems and applications updated in a controlled way.

  • Cloud security

Secure Microsoft 365 and Azure configuration following best practice.

  • Protected backups

Backups kept apart from the main network so they survive ransomware.

Problems we solve

  • Devices with expired antivirus or months of missing updates.
  • Phishing emails reaching the whole team’s inbox.
  • A firewall still on factory settings.
  • Fear that ransomware could stop the business.

How we work

  1. Assess

We review devices, network, email and cloud to find the most important gaps.

  2. Prioritise

We present a plan ordered by risk and cost, without jargon.

  3. Implement

We roll out protections in stages, without interrupting operations.

  4. Maintain

We review alerts and keep protections up to date.

In detail

Layered security

No single tool stops every attack. We combine protection on devices, network, email and cloud so that if one layer fails, the next one stops the problem. We start with what reduces the most risk for your budget.

What we do, and what we don’t

We implement and manage security controls using recognised market tools. We don’t issue security certifications or replace a formal audit when your industry requires one; if you need one, we help you prepare for it.

Tools we work with

  • Microsoft Defender
  • SentinelOne
  • Guardz
  • Mimecast
  • Proofpoint
  • Cisco Meraki

Tools we know first-hand. They do not represent partnerships or company certifications.

Frequently asked questions

Isn’t free antivirus enough?

For a business, usually not. EDR solutions detect suspicious behaviour and let us isolate an infected device remotely, which basic antivirus can’t do.

What if we’ve already been attacked?

First we contain the incident and restore operations. Then we look at how it happened and put the missing protections in place. See also our incident response service.
